What You Can Do
The Quest for Peace has been working in solidarity with the people of Nicaragua for 20 years. We have transferred millions of dollars worth of material aid, supported community development programs throughout the country, building thousands of houses, latrines, and community centers. From the earliest days of the Quest we have raised our voices to demand more just policies from the U.S. government by challenging the Reagan and Bush embargos, calling for debt cancellation, and trade justice.
You can play a vital role in the Quest by taking part in advocacy campaigns, encouraging your school or other group to join the Clean Your Desk program, becoming a member of e-advocacy community, and donating to help us continue our work. None of work is simply a product of our staff’s energy alone. We rely on supporters throughout the country to help us frame and implement our program.
