In each zone the Institute has established an office to house volunteers and staff. The staff oversees small clinics and pharmacies to distribute low-cost medicines. The offices also serve as distribution points for humanitarian supplies, including materials collected through Clean Your Desk and food – most of which is bought locally, but also includes donated packets from the organization Save Our Starving Children. Institute staff live in the zonal offices during the week, to work with community leaders.
